Morris (and friend Pre-Raphaelite Edward Burne-Jones) joined the gothic revival architectural practice of George Edmund Street. Here they met Philip Webb who was to become a lifelong friend and, together with Webb, they formed the Arts & Crafts movement.

Over the next seven years the press produced 53 books (totaling some 18,000 copies). Kelmscott was the culmination of Morris’s life as a craftsman in many diverse fields. The books Morris produced were medieval in design, modeled on his studies of incunabula of the fifteenth century.

Asadar, 53 de titluri…
