Din imensa zona a muzicii, cel putin doua femei m-au facut sa-mi pierd capul, cumpatul, cantecul. Una dintre ele este grecoaica Eleni Karaindrou.

…si spunea:

Asa cum puteti vedea mai jos, Eleni nu a publicat foarte multe albume la ECM. Dintre ele, marea majoritate reprezinta coloane sonore la superbele filme ale lui Theo Angelopoulos, intre solisti aflandu-se si cel putin doi romani: Maria Bildea (harfa) si Sergiu Nastasa (vioara). Daca ar fi sa-mi restrang, dureros si nedrept, preferintele la doar doua compozitii ale minunatei femei, as alege Ulysse’s gaze si Trojan Women (din care am presarat si piesele din acest post).

Ascultand, nu doar cu urechile, aceste doua fosnete ale timpului, mi-am dat seama cata dreptate avea cineva: nu exista evolutie, ci “doar” o infinita metamorfoza…

De un minimalism dureros, muzica lui Eleni Karaindrou este una tragica, una care, dincolo de paruta-i simplitate este un idismeno logo - un limbaj de o bogatie infinita.
